What Health Means to Me

I looked the word up. Health. See if a definition might jog my writing perspective. Look what I found. Health – a wish of health and happiness as pledging in a toast. That’s the perfect perspective. Health as a blessing forward or benediction over one’s life. The “And they lived happily ever after” straight out the Fairy Tales. That says it all. Health, a way of living based on a foundation that brings forth the state of “Happily Ever After.” Yeah, I’m in.

But you know I did not stop here. Word study and association. I just had to. Wholeness, victory, prosperity, aid, cure, deliverance, well and safe are other words closely associated with the word health. I wish you health! Wow, that is powerful. Whatever word you need to apply to the situation you are currently experiencing, so you can feel better, it’s there for the taking. Yes, this is what health means to me. A way for one to feel better. A way for all to feel better.

Health. It also brings along a feeling of being safe. Don’t worry, be happy kind of stuff. I don’t know about you, but I have had more than my share of ‘The Darkside” stuff. Quiet as its kept, it is why I can be so compassionate as I listen in counsel, to other people’s stuff. Plus, I get to go, “Chile, if you only knew,” way deep in the back of my mind. This gives me plenty of “spin room” so I can bring comfort and a feeling of well-being despite what they may be walking through. “Yea though I walk through.” It doesn’t say build a tent and camp out. You got to walk. Walking is healthy. See, it all ties in.

But I guess the best part of it for me is health is so comfy, it feels so good. Nothing out of place, minimal fear and doubt. It’s really close to the place where BOLD statements of Truth can proceed out of my mouth. BOLD statements that can come forth because I have lived them out. They are my life. I need not read a book or listen to anyone, It’s me, It’s me! God’s health in manifest reality.  A total lifestyle change. A lifestyle that I no longer need to take a vacation from. Isn’t that exciting? Well for me it is.

So, there it is. My take on what health means to me. Sounds so good, I think I’ll pick it up and run with it. Catch me if you can. Peace.
