Comrades,
What matters is holding close the knowledge that hatred only lasts for as long as love will allow. What matters is that there’s a revolution around the bend and if we falter now, we’ll incur regrets that spare no room for solace. What matters is that we keep warm tonight. It will be some time before the cold takes its leave. What matters is that we find each other in the morning. At the intersections where we always do. Where what matters is just you and me and our making of a world as new and as bright and as impossible as a bouquet of freshly plucked stars.

Can yooz millennials slow down for a minute, please. I support the bending of language to suit the purposes of our war on capitalist patriarchy. Yes, I understand that the formation of a new order requires the forging of a new grammar. But I am struggling to keep up. I see this new thing called GoT all over my feed. Almost every second comrade is like GoT this and GoT that. I’m not sure what it means, but from the accompanying pics, I am guessing it has something to do with ancient white people. Is this the new swear word for colonialists? If that’s the case, then let me join you in saying fuck GoT!
Yooz must understand, I’m not the sharpest when it comes to these things. For a long time I wandered these streets believing the word ‘bae’ was pronounced ‘bah_eh’.

My love for Nelson Mandela ran deep. So it infuriates me to no end that his name has been appropriated by capitalist opportunists and become a reason for the privileged to quiet the noise the rest of us are making for equality and justice with a Kumbaya singalong. Whatever you may think of his life as a statesman, let us never forget that at the peak of his anti-apartheid powers, he was a fierce revolutionary who would stop at nothing for our freedom. Rest in Power, Tata.
