The Possibiilities

The mirror and I, gaze with steady intent into each other’s eyes,

Both of us begin grinning foolishly, as we simultaneously realize,

That the world is our oyster, and no one can stop us, except us.

No matter the odds or obstacles, we will smash them to dust.

I laugh aloud, and my reflection erupts in amusement with me.

Thrilled at what the future holds, excited by the possibility…
