The Great Harmonizer

Ahhhhh. That’s the “feel” of it. It is where we so diligently strive to have our lives reflect. That place where all things line up in agreement and cooperation. That place where we can give an affirmative nod and a little sly grin because things are so good. We sometimes attempt to fool ourselves into believing that this experience lies somewhere outside of us in our external world, when in fact it lies within. Bottom line it is a learned behavior that we have decided to live by. It is our becoming OK with ourselves.

In this life we look to define things so that we can grasp the concept of what that thing is, which then initiates a process where we can then pursue it in our minds so we can develop thoughts about it, see what we think about it, which then generates a “feel” about whatever we are thinking about. I don’t know about you, but I like my “feel’ about things, everything in fact, to be that feel of Ahhhhh.  A relaxed place of exhale. I want to define and understand things in a way that makes me feel good. A place where all is well. A place where everything functions in harmony with everything else. I want to know how to do this. I want to know now. Hmmmm… What understanding do I need to help me in this quest? Oh snap! Like magic what I needed just appeared. I’m so excited, so excited in fact that I think I will share it with you:

“Love is the great harmonizer and healer. It is an inner quality that sees good everywhere and in everybody. It insists that all is good, and by refusing to see anything but good it causes that quality finally to appear uppermost in itself, and in all things.” The Revealing Word – Charles Fillmore.

BAMM! There it is! Here is what I needed to do in order to have harmony in my life. Here is the answer I need in order to achieve that state of exhale. Yippee. I am now on the road to Ahhhhhhh. There is a saying in the world of business that you never need to hire consultants that will review your ideas. They show up automatically and you don’t even have to pay them. (I hear a rumble in reader land. )

“Well now that you have your answer, will you do it? Will you Love in order to bring about the harmony in your life that you desire? Well Reverend Bobby, will you?” Of course, I will, and this is why.  I have had more than enough of my share of the other stuff. You know. Worry, discontent, things going on in my mind, things going on in my body, sadness, depression, and an all-encompassing feeling of BLAH – a myriad of things and experiences that were not in harmony with me. Oh no. Those things are not for me. And being the scientific person that I am, I have experimented with life looking for a way to bring about harmony . After trying everything else, I decided for myself, that I’m going to give Love a shot. And can you imagine what happened?

Harmony, peace, cooperation, and agreement began to show themselves forth in my experience. It took a minute for me to realize that the reason they were now showing up, is that I was acting and behaving in harmony with the flow of life. My being in harmony with things, brought them in harmony with me. Scary stuff because the residual that was still within kept me looking for the other shoe to drop. But there is no other shoe. I’m telling you, this “feeling” of exhaling, this feeling of Ahhhhhhh, all things being in harmony with me is something. Just think, something I had never been able to imagine is now my way of life. I’m good!
