Rev. Bobby
I have preached on it, talked about it many times. It wasn’t until I experienced it for myself that a most significant understanding within me came to be. Upon receiving this understanding, it became very quiet within me and is reflecting the same in my outer experience. Of course there is always a “leading up to” story because I am a preacher. So I have to share that part so that the power of the speechlessness can be experienced by you also. I love to share.
‘Couple of months ago, I looked up and the two outstanding prayers I had, were answered and fulfilled. I mean to the point where I could not see myself ever being disturbed by anything again. In a place so thankful and grateful, that I couldn’t imagine being angered or upset by anything ever again. I searched my soul deeply and completely and couldn’t come up with a scenario that I felt would disturb the calm peace of my soul. I truly mean this. I am not joking or making this up to look good or special in your eyes. Y’all know I don’t care about that stuff.
But then came the point of speechlessness. During what could be a very sad and difficult time, I got to experience that which I have talked and preached about, that which I knew to be true but I did not know it to this level of personal experience. I experienced for myself, in a way that meant the world to me so I could understand it for me in the way I understand things, unconditional love. Yes, the love that is eternal and never goes anywhere. The love that is the all in all of all things. The love that is God’s creation. The love that is God. Unconditional Love left me speechless.
Speechless because it is impossible to put words around the experience. Speechless because I had such a shallow and superficial understanding of things. Speechless because I no longer had the need to suggest to anyone how they should choose to use their free will and choice that determines how they live. Speechless and peaceful in living according to what I practice, which brought this experience consciously into my life.
The coolest thing is that it also satisfies a known request that is made to me quite often by my bestest friend ever, “Bobby hursh!” Speechless, it is so good. Good, all the way around.
