There are many “Shifts” taking place around the world these days. The five primary shifts that I feel notable are (1) the continuation of the Segregation of Humanity, (2) Political shifts between Democracy and Autocracy, (3) the nascent of Women’s Rights, (4) Spiritual Awakening, and (5) Climate Change.
Let’s explore my thoughts about the Segregation of Humanity (#1). I chose this one first because it has the most extended history. Ever since the Sumerians were on planet Earth circa 5,000 BC, the interplay between the gods and the humans has proven disastrous. Written evidence exists of the struggles between the gods [supposedly the government] and the people. The basis of these struggles was the economics of civilization, in that gods needed workers to mine the fields to grow the crops and feed the people. However, the gods reaped the benefits of the royalties and lived lavishly because of the hardworking people. So, if you were a god, you want many people working for you. If you’re a person, you were being extorted and even persecuted if you’re not working. After a while, the people rebelled, powerful warlords became their leaders, and soon their whole nation was at war and eventually disappeared. Warring has been going on with every empire since then, including the Babylonians, the Akkadians, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, Genghis Khan [Mongolian], the British, the early European nations, Russia, North Korea, and unfortunately to some extent today, in America.
Political Shifts between Democracy and Autocracy (#2) have become rancid globally. Money, greed, and power hold the ingredients for the elites and autocrats of society who seek more. The keyword is more. They have cars, planes, and yachts, and yet seek more. And that’s one of the hardest things to stop. How can you stop more?
On the other hand, democracy is what the common people of most nations also want more of as well. There is a never-ending conflict of who gets more. In the USA, two people, namely Trump and Musk, have everything in the world they want and still want more. A poor person in Gaza or a starving immigrant in Syria just wants some bread and shelter; for them, that is more. Globally, when a democracy weakens, it’s because of social conditioning and brainwashing the populace to get more if they attach to the autocratic process. And they ignorantly accept this information, so they get more of nothing. Democracy means “By the people, for the people,” whereas autocracy means more for an elite few. In turn, that takes us right back to the segregation of humanity. More of nothing prevails.
My most inspired Shift lay with Woman’s Rights (#3). Historically, the female has been subjugated to the male role. Except for a few personalities, such as Cleopatra, Catherine the Great, Mother Mary, and Mother Theresa, pursuing feminine might has been squashed. Since the beginning of women’s suffrage in the mid-nineteenth century, the foundation for the most prolific Shift arose. Once the seed for a woman’s right to vote was planted in the hearts of women and the women minded, the steady flow of power began to emerge. Day after day, year after year, the constant flow of Feminine Consciousness entered the hearts of those who sought social balance. In 1920, America ratified women’s right to vote. Ever since, women’s rights have evolved to the point that not only could women vote but, in most cases, excel in professional roles held by males, including political positions.
The key point I envision affixed to the Women’s Rights movement is that the Shift will be prolific. I do not see an endpoint. Mother Mary gave me a vision of the power of the feminine. I believe her message had merit as she knew how important women’s global unification can be to better humankind.
The Shift for Spiritual Awakening and Development (#4) takes a slow and steady course. Many people seek to improve their social, mental, and emotional development. That’s been around for millennia. However, to change one’s belief systems, climbing Mt. Everest may be more manageable. Since the beginning of humankind, humans have been faced with their individuality as opposed to membership within the social village or religious affiliation. But to leave the group could have severe consequences and even persecution—just standard social-psychology stuff. Though, in the mid-1970s, a movement among kindred souls surfaced. Personal development and New Age materials rapidly surfaced.
The most renowned is transcendental meditation, and my favorite is Seth Speaks and the Nature of Personal Reality by Jane Roberts. Recently, my book, Change Your DNA, Change Your Life, an international best seller, professes how specific protocols that activate a spiritual awakening within our human DNA are used throughout the Program. Here, science and metaphysics have intermingled advancing technologies in Spiritual Development. People are desperate for change or a cause to follow.
Death and the Afterlife received lots of attention. What’s my Purpose in Life? What happens on the other side? Are there aliens out there? Being a firm believer and practitioner in Holistic Psychology and Human-Spiritual Development, I profess that more people are waking up, shifting their lives, and becoming healthier and more peaceful. Spiritual Development could be your last choice as I firmly sense that asking for Divine Help nears its end as Earth’s changes are now upon us. It’s decision time.
My final choice for this Shift’s article lay with Climate Change. Former Vice-President Al Gore professed a wake-up call regarding the potential consequences of not dealing with Climate Change circa 1993. That was over thirty years ago. Yes, some nations reacted, but by and large, according to many scientists today, it’s too late. We’ve missed the window for basic survival.
There are plenty of YouTube videos and news reports of the climate-related devastation occurring globally. Some people enjoy watching them for excitement, while others, like me, sit with horror and a broken heart. We had our chance. Will humankind constructively deal with the onslaught of Earthy changes yet to be determined? But the Shift must be reckoned with, or we’ll be in the YouTube videos.
Objectively, every day, we learn something and grow. We all undergo shifts. Are we aware of them? Do they concern you? And what can you do to ensure you are on the best path for your safety, health, and happiness? So, fill your New Year with good shifts and catch up on the ones that affect us all.
