I started spinning fire after watching it at a camping trip with some good friends. It looked cool, and I wanted to try. I was hooked from that point. I have been spinning since February of 2010.
Because you need plenty of room to move, dance, and flow, outdoors is the place for spinning. In fact, spinning fire heals me by getting me into the flow, the zone…it’s a moving meditation, if you will. It’s a way that teaches me to just let go (safely aware, of course) and just let patterns happen. It is also a wonderful cardiovascular exercise. It captures the present moment, and forces me to stay present and aware, while letting go.
