Part Of The Package

Abundance – An overflowing fullness; ample sufficiency; great plenty. Affluence.

Just in defining our topic, I began to feel good. Light, bubbly, clear, free, and expectant is a few of the words that come to mind. Now, I felt it: I was warming up. What have I, Reverend Bobby, been provided in abundance? What can I use as an example in my life to relate this concept of abundance in an uplifting way to others? What shall I do? What do I have? Stories. What I have in abundance is Stories.

A griot may be a good option for my life. I could share wisdom and compassion and the overcoming energy contained within the human spirit through my stories. History, Life, Race, Religion, and War would be my favorite topics; Culture, specifically Black Culture, would also be a subject I could find myself totally immersed in, as deep conversations more than likely would take place. Griot, yeah, that’s the ticket. Stories would be the basis of my mission. I’d probably be good too. I know I’d have fun.

Another option for sharing my abundance of stories is to retire down south, get a gas station with one service bay, a vintage coke machine, a barrel, two chairs, and a checkerboard. Chile, sit there all day spinning lore. Can you imagine, Laughing, exaggerating, drinking coke, and winning at checkers because my opponents will always be distracted. Shoot, if someone got clippers, he could cut hair while we sitting there lying. Look, I don’t know about you, but I would be in absolute heaven. All provided by, and continually fueled by, my abundance of stories. Hmmm, ‘starting to sound like a setup. Like there could be a “Higher Purpose” to the stories. Hmm.. Hmmm…

“Inspiring, Uplifting, Loving. A safe space for the healing to take space.” That’s it! That’s it—no option to live; just live what is, and you always know why. Everything fits. Powerful synchronicities. Through my abundance of stories, I can share overcomings and the human spirit’s strength under the direst of conditions. From the pulpit or any other form of communication or media presence, I can use the abundance of stories in support of My Ministry – the Ministry God gave me to be my life. Sharing from the abundance of stories gives those who are looking for something to hang on to a handle. They may get an idea or understand a concept better through the abundance of stories. And the super increase and growth aspect is now I can add to the number of stories with how they helped facilitate an overcoming or healing. I introduce an abundance of witnesses to the Hand of God showing in and thru all things. That’s right, all things. God is the true abundance in our lives. An abundance of God, that’s the deal.

Take a quick minute and quiet yourself. Look within and realize that your abundance exists within you. Access it, allow it to flow forth into every area of your life. Looking within can be scary but don’t hold back; it will never be too much to experience or too much to share. Now, we opened the door to allow the abundance in our lives to flow forth from deep within our being. That abundance is God. It’s part of the package.
