Let Spirit Be Your Guide

A while ago I made a choice to follow the guidance of Spirit. Life was in the tubers and I knew the best I could experience out of life by being obedient to the instruction of bobby, so I attempted to do something different — being obedient to the instruction of Spirit. This sounds like a Very Good decision to make and it was; it is just that all the bittersweet I came across after making this choice was somewhat distasteful.

Distasteful as it may have been, the journey, obedient to spirit, has been one of one adventure before another. The choice, as good as it was, did bring along with it some conditions and some adjustments that to say the least were challenging. It was easy enough to allow the things that did not serve me well be adjusted out of my life to make room for something different. It was the adjustment of that which I felt to be good to move out of my life so that the very Good could show forth that was terrifying. I mean, I am salt of the earth tough, but some of this stuff brought me to my knees, all as a result, of the “play out” of the choice I had made.

See, it’s easy to make choices, Bam, bam. What is not easy is to deal with the effects and ramifications of our choices. The most difficult part of this is that we are the ones responsible for the choices made. OUCH!!! I want to blame Vicki, but that don’t cut it because no matter what, The TRUTH is that I made the choice that brought about the result. Point blank period.

Ah ha! Now, I have learned to make a more mindful choice. I have also learned to make the choice that is more attuned to serving all of mankind, instead of the one serving Bobby. I have also learned that the bittersweet is usually that which shows up before a wonderful, wonderful blessing. That blessing is more than likely to be the total fulfillment of my heart’s desire.

Choice, yes. Choose wisely. See that the choice you make today is that which plays in your experience tomorrow. The key to a better tomorrow is a wise choice today. Peace.
