GS: Do you think you are beautiful/handsome? What would you like to change?
Definitely yes! I don’t think I would change anything. I am blessed with natural beauty, I guess. All thanks to my parents.
GS: What are your goals as a model? Who is your role model?
To keep pushing myself to the next level up and inspire people, especially youth. My role model is David Gandy.
GS: Which costume designer’s art do you admire the most? You would walk for whom?
Donatella Versace from the House of Versace, Domenico Dolce from Dolce & Gabbana; and, Indian designers – Manish Malhotra and Rohit Bal. All designers are too good in their own way, and I would definitely walk for everyone. But personally, I would choose Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Manish Malhotra.
GS: How did/do you master your art? Have you attended fashion modeling courses? Please share about your growth and evolution.
I am a fast learner. I observe and learn from my mistakes. That is how I master my craft. No, I never took any fashion modeling course, but when I was young at the age of 18, I participated in a model hunt contest and did a lot of shows and print shoots. It taught me how to survive in the industry and become successful.
GS: Artistically most challenging photoshoot/fashion show?
I worked with many photographers in India who did experimental shoots at the beginning of my career, so for me, each shoot was artistic and challenging.
GS: Out about town vs. runway… The difference? Are you always posing?
About town is reality, and runway is work and passion. We cannot mix both, I feel. Am I always posing? [Laughs] Yes, sometimes, however hard I try not to.
GS: Beauty / Look secrets? Health habits? Diet / Exercise…
I regularly workout to keep my body fit, along with meditation and dance. I take proper vitamins, keep myself hydrated all the time, and eat healthy food.
GS: Work ethics?
I respect my work a great deal, and I am disciplined with what I do.
GS: Your most unique quality/attribute the none of your peers have is…
I would consider speaking with my eyes and conveying my feelings to be my most unique quality. I have found that to be rare in this industry. I also share positive vibes wherever I go.
