Eight years ago, some great food was grilling under a tent in the Shoals, Alabama. Markes and Sabrina Gholston have been grillin', smokin', and serving their community "The best barbecue you will ever put in your mouth'" for a long time. Today, Gholdston's BBQ drives a food truck and answers customers' calls anywhere from churches, family reunions, and weddings to golf courses and fashion designer's soirees.
They have been traveling for three years by truck, but they also cater and prepare food to order. Sabrina notes, "Cooking is a blessing, cooking and making folks happy." Sabrina cooks the side dishes, but Markes is the grillmaster. They serve a diverse menu of grilled and smoked meats, fried fish, and sides, but their favorites are:
