Autumn is here. I see it in my copper skin. In my glistening eyes. In the bamboo scarf that begs to hug me tighter. Autumn is here. But you are nowhere near here. You’re somewhere, Where spring beckons you to life that demands every ounce of your being. So I’ll stand here, until seasons merge And we can see each other again. Where we’ll walk under the same sun and drink its golden rays.

Frank Malaba is an actor, playwright and a published poet. He was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa. He has performed on stage and television in both countries. He has a passion for using poetry, storytelling and theatre as a method of healing for both himself and others. His poetry has been presented both at home and abroad. Frank is currently developing a two-man play entitled “Broken Pathways” which will be touring internationally.
